RunwiseOS was started by a working roofing contractor who'd had enough. Enough of running the week off three apps and a notebook. Enough of CIS taking up his Sundays. Enough of paying for American software made by people who'd never set foot on a UK site.

He tried every tool on the market. The big-name ones were built for HVAC firms in Texas. The cheap ones were a glorified spreadsheet. Nothing handled Domestic Reverse Charge properly. Nothing felt like it was made by someone who'd actually carried a tile up a ladder.

So he built his own — first for his own crew, then for the contractors who kept asking how he was running such a tidy operation. It started in roofing, but the same problems show up on every job: quotes that need to go out before the customer cools off, CIS returns due tomorrow, a downpour that ruins a Thursday. Today RunwiseOS is used across the trades — roofing, building, electrical, plumbing, joinery, plastering, groundworks, landscaping.

We're not a software house dressing up as a trades brand. We're contractors who happen to have built software. That's the whole point.
